We take delight in expressing ourselves in a genuine manner, brought upon us by the the true word of God, that is written among the pages of the Bible
In a rapidly changing world, we must adjust and adapt to become an effective channel of the Gospel, bringing the knowledge of salvation to the community we serve.
The Bible teaches us to, “speak the truth in love” and to, “speak to each other with love and truth”. We present ourselves as authentically as possible to each other and to the world. We know this to be the best way to transmit the love of Jesus Christ.
Our method of worship leads the way with relevant and modern influence. The substance of the Gospel will never change; however, our packaging of the Gospel must always be renewed, so that people may readily understand and relate to God’s word through the ages.
No one man is a Superman in our ministry philosophy. Jesus trained twelve disciples so that they could spread the Gospel in twelve ways and in twelve different ministry styles. Our understanding is that we must spread our burden of ministry to others who will serve and experience the power of the Holy Spirit.

We value the power of prayer. We expect all workers to be industriously engaged in regular prayer efforts in petitioning and interceding for unreached communities. (Ps 5:3; 88:1; 55:17; Eph 6:11-12; Phil 4:6; 1Thess 5:6; Rev 5:8)

We value our ministry as a Christ-centred ministry. We regard Jesus Christ as the Intercessor for the lost, our Great Priest, and Lord of our lives. (Heb 4:14-16; 7:20-25; Phil 2: 9-11; Rev 5:12-13)

We value our unity in Christ Jesus. Living in a multi-cultural community, we seek to live in harmony under the Lordship of Jesus Christ as a testimony to the world. We treasure our role as facilitators of integration of diversity in the Body of Christ. We do not desire to see the formation of any “cultural fences” among us. (1Cor 1:10; 2Cor 13:11; Eph 4:1-6; 5:1-2; Phil 1:27; 2:1-2; 1Pet 3:8; 1Jn 4:7-8)

We value the officers of the church as ordained by the Holy Spirit; thus, we will work with our pastors, elders, deacons, and leaders to reach the ultimate goal of evangelizing Jesus Christ to the GTA and beyond. (Rom 13:1-2; Eph 4:11-12)

We value open communications and bi-lateral edification among the saints. We discourage gossip and negative communication which may damage the bond in Christ. (Rom 15:5-6; Eph 4:15-16; 1Tim 2:14-17)

We value our engagement in our community. Knowing the pulse of our community will lead to development of appropriate ministries to serve them.

We value ourselves as ambassadors for Christ; our daily living will reflect this assessment. The ministries at MGCCN are designed to reach out and evangelise the community, whose minds have been “blinded by the god of this age”. (Mat 22:38-39; 2Cor 2:14-15)
